2010年獎學金申請～開跑啦

2010年入學的申請，已經漸漸告一段落囉～申請的結果必定是幾家歡喜、幾家愁的。不過相信已經拿到offer的學生，一定正在考慮最終入學的學校，這時除了煩惱IELTS考試、Pre-Sessional Programme、宿舍申請等瑣碎的事情，千萬不能忘了與荷包有關的寶島大代誌－申請獎學金－

多數的英國大學，為吸引優秀學生就讀，紛紛提供許多獎學金以供申請，只要拿到學校的入學許可(Conditional/ Un-conditional offer)，皆可申請獎學金。通常學校的獎學金申請，需要寫一篇statement，告訴學校申請獎學金的動機及目的，自我推薦讓學校認為你是一個值得投資的人才，順利取得獎學金；有些學校則是在審件過程當中，直接給予成績優秀的申請者1000英鎊不等的獎學金

University of Glasgow

獎學金名稱：Glasgow Postgraduate Excellence Scholarships

名額：75名

獎學金金額：£3,000

申請資格：申請以下列Faculties之國際學生且於2010年入學者

Art; Biomedical & Life Sciences; Education; Engineering; Information & Mathematical Sciences; Law, Business & Social Sciences; Physical Sciences; Veterinary Medicine

提出碩士課程申請，University of Glasgow將會斟酌學生的學術能力，自動給予獎學金

University of Nottingham
獎學金名稱: Taiwan Masters Scholarship

名額: 10名

獎學金金額: 學費減免25%

申請資格: 2010年入學University of Nottingham碩士課程的台灣學生(Taught master/ MRes)

所有科系的學生皆可申請 (但MBA除外)

申請截止日期: 2010年6月4日

University of Sheffield
University of Sheffield特別提供多項的獎學金，其中更有針對來自台灣的碩士學生提供的獎學金。

獎學金名稱: Taiwan Sheffield Postgraduate Scholarships 2010

申請資格: Faculties of Engineering, Pure Science and School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences的授課式碩士(taught master)

獎學金金額: £ 1,000 MSc Nanotechnology

£ 1,500 2010年學費介於£10,940~£12,100之間

£ 2,000 £12,101或更高

獎學金名稱：Taiwan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2010

獎學金金額：一年£ 6,500

申請資格：2010年入學University of Sheffield碩士課程的台灣學生

申請截止日期:：2010年7月2日

Swansea University
索引與Swansea University聯合獎學金，歡迎已拿到Swansea大學入學許可的學生，即早接受offer並繳交訂金£2,000。獎學金的發放方式，將直接從學生應繳交的學費中扣除。

申請資格：在索引留學提出申請Swansea大學者(不限科系)。最早接受學校offer的前十名，即可參加獎學金競逐

獎學金金額：£2,500

名額： 2名

MBA獎學金

在索引留學提出申請Swansea大學MBA課程，成績優秀且具有豐富工作經驗者。

金額：£2000 (索引將協助您與course leader爭取此項獎學金)

申請資格：2010年入學Royal Holloway的國際學生且學術成績優秀者

非英語系國家之申請者，其英語程度需達到入學要求

申請截止日期：2010年4月30日 (RHUL將在5月底公告獎學金得主)

獎學金名稱：Open Master's Scholarship

名額：35名 (最多)

獎學金金額

學費超過£10,000者，給予£3,000獎學金

其他則給予£2,000 獎學金

申請資格：2010年9月入學University of Leicester且學術成績優秀的國際學生
